GDV Conference Solvency II: October 23-24, 2007, Hilton Hotel Berlin
With the publication of the proposal for a directive on Solvency II on 10th July 2007 by the European Commission, the Solvency ll-project has made a decisive step forward
Jo contribute to a better understanding of the consequences of this draft directive, the GDV is preparing a new international conference about Solvency II with speakers from the EU-commission, CEIOPS, the European parliament, the CEA, German government representatives, representatives of the insurance industry and other experts. A representative of the Czech Insurance Association will contribute to the discussion with a presentation of the challenges for the Czech insurers in implementing Solvency II.
Due to the genuine "European" character of Solvency II and the consequences for all markets, it is a pleasure to invite you as one of our key international partners to participate in this conference. Of course, also representatives of insurance companies of your country are most welcome.
The conference language will be in principle German; some speakers will report in English. Please find enclosed a detailed draft program. For further information please contact our business administration institute or the DVA, as mentioned in the draft program.
